Terry McIver, our Supervisor in Columbia, SC and Augusta, GA has been inspired by her team and as a tribute to them, has created a presentation highlighting their strengths and letting us know a little bit about each of them and the kinds of people they are. By coincidence, Terry is pictured in the "Superstars" banner image located just above this entry, giving us the opportunity to see an entire Gardenvision team at one time.

Gaining this insight is important. Although the purpose of this section is to show off the individuals who make extraordinary contributions to the company as a whole, the reality is that Gardenvision Teams are the driving force behind the company's success. Terry points out in the presentation that her team members aften work at multple locations and take on job responsibilities that go beyond their job description. To be honest, she only scrathces the surface of the dedication, versitility, and passion for making garden centers beautiful for consumers and productive for retailers that our team embodies. As a company, we have always taken pride in the fact that our clients feel comfortable in coming to us when something needs to get done. It is teams like Terry's, from Baton Rouge to Miami, that make it happen .

Marko Lacmanovic

When I think of leadership Marko Lacmanovic always comes to mind. Marko is a natural leader who can go to any store and achieve remarkable results. Always highly respected by his coworkers and store management wherever he is asked to go, Marko is continually complemented on his work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to please his customers.

Not long ago I popped by his ‘home’ store and no sooner than I walked in the front door the Store Manager very seriously requests for me to walk his garden center. Dreading that there was a problem I was relieved when he turned to me, smiled, and asked “Now, have you seen a better looking garden center all season anywhere?!” He continued to praise Marko’s merchandising skills and the value he has for Marko as part of the team.

Marko came to us as a senior in high school in Feb 2006 and has worked his way through college with Gardenvision. He recently graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Philosophy and plans to continue his education by working on his Masters degree in Sociology.

Being in the Atlanta market has offered Marko the opportunity to work in several stores other than his home store to assist in resets and new hire training. Marko completes every task with little or no supervision – just an inner drive to excel to be the best employee he can be.
